  • Last Week’s Mints:
  • Swiftly selling out on Monday, The Story of Napoleon by Harold Wheeler offers an insightful look into Napoleon’s brilliant military mind, his historical victories and losses, and his revolutionary reforms in France. Didn’t get to mint it? It’s available for purchase on jpg.store now.
  • Tuesday, we minted Dune and Philosophy: Minds, Monads, and Muad’Dib, a compelling addition to our library that sold out immediately. This book is not only for fans of the Dune series but also for those intrigued by the philosophical questions that govern our reality. Those of you who missed the initial mint can pick it up at jpg.store.
  • On Wednesday, we added another classic title to the Women Author Wednesdays series with Jane Eyre by Charlotte Brontë. Renowned for its strong feminist voice and rich psychological depth, Jane Eyre remains a vital read. The initial mint has, unsurprisingly, sold out, but you can still get yours here and get the rest of the Women Author Wednesdays series here.
  • Thursday, we celebrated the triple mint of Grimms’ Fairy Tales, a collection that has enchanted readers young and old for generations. This compilation, curated by the Brothers Grimm, Jacob, and Wilhelm, is a folklore and mythology treasure trove. The triple mint may be sold out, but your chance to claim a part of this exclusive book hasn’t vanished. Check out your store options below.
  • Cardano — jpg.store
  • Poly — OpenSea.io
  • Eth — OpenSea.io
  • Friday saw the exciting flash mint of P.T. Barnum’s The Art of Money Getting, a guide brimming with the legendary showman’s insights on accumulating wealth and success. Too slow for the flash mint? Seize the chance to delve into Barnum’s wisdom, now available on jpg.store for those looking to enrich their financial understanding and entrepreneurial spirit.
  • Minting This Week:
  • Monday, the shelves were quickly cleared of Edward Gibbon’s The History of the Decline & Fall of the Roman Empire, a monumental work in the field of historical scholarship. Gibbon’s meticulous research and engaging prose offer readers a panoramic view of the Roman Empire’s vast expanses. Don’t let the sellout discourage you. This book can still be yours by heading to jpg.store.
  • Tuesday, we’re minting an artifact of unparalleled historical and cultural significance: The Constitution of the United States. This document, which has steered the American republic since its inception, embodies the ideals of freedom, equality, and governance by the people. Through this mint, we aim to bridge the past with the present, offering individuals the chance to engage directly with the principles underpinning American democracy for centuries. This will be a part of our Foundations of the United States Series.
  • Wednesday, we are delighted to announce the minting of Little Women by Louisa May Alcott, a cherished classic that has touched readers’ hearts for generations. Alcott’s masterpiece is celebrated for its warmth, character depth, and exploration of themes such as family, independence, and women’s roles, making it a timeless piece for readers of all ages and part of the Women Author Wednesdays series.
  • Thursday, we will mint an essential piece of political history, the Magna Carta. Drafted in 1215, this foundational document established the principle that everyone, including the King, is subject to the law. With the minting of the Magna Carta, individuals are given a unique occasion to own a seminal piece of history that continues to influence our modern lives and the unfolding future.
  • Success of the Token Bridge: The $BOOK Token Bridge is moving into production after successfully testing the MVP version. All Research is complete, and we are excited to have this moving forward. We will keep everyone updated when this will be rolled out.
  • New Book.io Merch: Our merchandise has landed, and it’s looking fabulous. A big round of applause for Oklahoma Ink, whose sponsorship has brought an extra layer of awesomeness to Book.io Con. Keep an eye on social, as we will tease the merch in the upcoming weeks. Bottom line: Get your ticket to Book.io Con if you don’t have one!
  • Book.io In The Media: You can watch a great clip here if you missed Josh’s appearance on Cardano 360.

With the code set to be sealed tighter than a drum by early April, we’re on the brink of unleashing something special. This isn’t just any old update; it’s a colossal revamp of our Stripe integration, complete with a snazzy new NMKR flow that they practically gift-wrapped for us and a shiny new step in Parlamint that’s about to make its grand debut.

  • BOOK Stake Pool Rewards Redemption Schedule Update: Initially, BOOK Stake Pool rewards were expected to be available for redemption immediately following the ADA distribution of each Cardano Epoch. After testing and understanding the entire process, we decided it was best to have rewards available for redemption on a one-Epoch lag cycle. Essentially, you can expect your $BOOK rewards to be available five days after the ADA for the Epoch is paid out. This modification ensures sufficient time to process and validate staking rewards accurately.
If you are currently staked with the $BOOK Pool, today, you can expect to be able to see and redeem your rewards for Epochs 468, 469, 470, 471, and 472 (as long as you were staked during these times). Rewards for Epoch 473 will be available in five calendar days, on March 30th at 21:45 UTC, and 474 will be available five calendar days later (April 4th), and so on.
    Claim Your $BOOK Rewards Here!
  • If you have additional questions, you can visit our $BOOK Pool FAQ site at https://help.book.io/knowledge/book-pool, email us at support@book.io, or reach out to us on the #support page of Discord. Thank you for your patience and understanding of adjustments like this as we work to build the best reward system and community possible.

Minting Tuesday!
The United States Constitution — Minting on Cardano.

No brakes on this freight train — we’re full steam ahead and ecstatic to contribute to this community and build the future of books!

Cheers,
The Book.io Team.
