  • Last Week’s Mints:
  • Monday, we added Ten Days That Shook the World by John Reed. This book is still minting, but only a few books are left, including rarities #002 and #010. This eyewitness account of the Russian Revolution presents invaluable perspectives on Russian political history, making it an essential addition for enthusiasts and scholars alike. Don’t miss out; mint your book here.
  • On Tuesday, we launched The King James Bible: Second Edition. This book embodies our steadfast commitment to freely sharing ideas and information. Seize the opportunity to mint one of history’s most banned books here.
  • Women Author Wednesdays continues with North and South by Elizabeth Gaskell. This classic offers a profound exploration of the Industrial Revolution’s impact on Victorian England. This book is still minting, and if you act fast, you can still secure yours here. You can see the entire Women Author Wednesday series, minting every Wednesday in March, here.
  • Thursday, we minted Just So Stories by Rudyard Kipling; these stories, beloved by generations for their playful explanations of the natural world, are almost gone. This triple mint has a few books left to mint on Poly and Eth, but you’ll have to act fast.

  • Tuesday, we’re diving into Dune and Philosophy: Minds, Monads, and Muad’Dib edited by Kevin S. Decker and William Irwin. This compelling read ventures beyond the dunes of Arrakis, offering a rendezvous with philosophy itself. From the individual’s autonomy to the web of life that binds us, prepare to explore the existential puzzles underpinning Frank Herbert’s universe. It’s a journey that promises to expand not just your understanding of Dune but of existence itself.
  • Wednesday, we’ll be minting Jane Eyre by Charlotte Brontë. This masterpiece has charmed readers for decades with its strong, independent heroine and rich storytelling. This is the third installment in the Women Author Wednesday series, and you can acquire the other two titles here.
  • Thursday, we’re rolling out Grimms’ Fairy Tales by Jacob and Wilhelm Grimm. Strap in for a rollercoaster ride back to when fairy tales weren’t just bedtime stories but lessons in morality, magic, and the occasional mayhem. Prepare for a hilariously shocking realization that fairy tales were the original horror stories.
  • CEX Appeal: We have signed an official agreement with the first CEX that will list $BOOK on its platform. More details to come!
  • Great Shoutout From Charles: It’s always nice to have him give us some props. Check it out here.
  • Charging Ahead: The development of our credit card payment system is progressing smoothly. We anticipate wrapping up the coding phase in the next two weeks, after which we’ll proceed to testing. With the enhanced framework in place, we’re set to broaden our catalog, extending beyond Mint+Print™ to feature a variety of merchandise, including posters.
  • Login Magic: The mobile team is red-hot, diligently developing innovative signup steps for mobile, complete with social logins, to effortlessly embrace the mass market.
  • London Book Fair — Manske gave a fantastic presentation; check out the photo and give him some love here.
  • Token Bridge Triumph: Proof-of-concepts have been completed, paving the way for an auditable version.
  • Stake Pool Rewards: The BOOK pool created its first block in Epoch 468. The reward calculations for the pool follow the network reward schedule and are always calculated two epochs behind the current epoch. When the rewards portal goes live on March 25, the epoch rewards available to claim will be for epochs 468, 469, 470, 471, 472, and 473. A 20% bonus will be applied to epochs 468, 469, and 470; a 15% bonus will be applied to epoch 471, and a 10% bonus to epochs 472, 473, and all ongoing epochs. Rewards will be available to claim at the end of each epoch going forward. For example, rewards for epoch 474 will be available to claim on March 30, rewards for epoch 475 will be available to claim on April 4, and so on. So excited to see this rollout!
  • Self-Service: We’ve been hard at work improving our backend admin capabilities, ensuring that what we’ve achieved with Cardano will benefit EVM mints, too. This is another step forward in our journey toward a self-minting portal.
  • Weekly Open Space on Discord: Join Aerokrator, Josi, and Manske in our new Tuesday voice chat to discuss and discover what’s new at Book.io.
  • When: Tuesdays, starting March 19th, 20–20:55 UTC.
  • This week’s topics: We’re discussing the London Book Fair highlights with Manske, a weekly recap, and an open stage for the community.
  • Location: Discord — look for the “Weekly Open Space” event. Everyone is welcome. See you there!
